The ambiance, food, and service is top notch. The seating area is very spacious and well spaced out among other tables.
The quality of food was excellent and tasted very fresh.

It wasn't a planned visit, we were at Grand Central Market and not a lot of food options were available. We decided to walk down to Cali Chilli-it was about 7.30-8pm. We were a group of 7 and we were seated immediately. Straight after us there were multiple big groups who came and were accommodated too.
We ordered Achari Paneer Tikka, Dairy Dal, Amritsari Kulcha and Butter Nan along with the Mint Lemonade.
Our friends ordered the Chicken Biryani and Chicken Pot Pie, Garlic Nan and Truffle Fries. We shared Death by Chocolate.
I had a small child with me and I requested my food to come out quickly and as promised it came out first and fairly quickly within perhaps 10-15 minutes of ordering. All the other food came out soon after too. It was extremely fast and everyone really enjoyed all the food. It was excellent.
Our vegetarian selections were really good, I've not had a better Dal anywhere. The Paneer Tikka was really good too. Our friends really complimented their food too.
They seemed to only have 2 servers in the whole restaurant but I didn't hear any complaints and our food was delivered really timely.
Would highly recommend and look forward to returning!

Delicious food and friendly environment. Our group ordered Pani Puri poppers and Cauliflower Fritters to start which were all super tasty. The drinks were really fun - lots of zero proof drink options. The virgin mojito was refreshing. The almond whisky drink my friend got can with a glass dome of smoke - fun aromatic reveal! For our mains we ordered Butter chicken pot pie (so much flavor!), Old School tikka chicken (tasty!), Eggplant lasagna (spicy gooey goodness), and Dum Biryani (huge!) Such a fun fusion - highly recommend!

DELICIOUS!! Loved the creative fusion of American and Indian comfort food. I got the Shrimp and Grits and my partner got the Butter Chicken Pot Pie. Order the Garlic and Chive Naan with chili oil on top. Sijang, the waiter, is a gem of a human and was so helpful. Plus, the cook, who is SO funny, personally came out twice to see if we enjoyed the food.

We heard of Cali Chilli and had to go there to eat. Weldon our waiter was helpful selecting the best dishes for us. The place was clean and no problems talking to each other. The food was amazing and well worth the price. We had the Tellicherry Shrimp and the Vindaloo. We also had a few more. The menu had so many of our favorites it was hard to decide. Can't wait to go back.

I've been here two times in a row now. This place has been at the top of my list for a while and it really stood up to my expectations.
The food here is one of the most authentic Indian food I've had in LA while being experimental and fun. The balance of fusion and authenticity is excellent.
Every single thing is seasoned here, even the rice. Great portion sizes for the price. You will not leave hungry from here.
They also have a great bar. I don't drink alcohol but they have a stellar collection of zero proof drinks and a huge collection of alcoholic drinks with some unique cocktails.
My highlight dishes here are the Rendang, the Black Dal, the Pot Pie and the Amritsari Kulcha.
Definitely going to be a regular of this place. Kudos to the chef and the staff here. Y'all are running an amazing establishment. Can't wait to be back.

This place has an amazing ambiance! I thoroughly enjoyed everything I tried here, including the cocktail. I’m a big fan of Indian fusion cuisine, and this restaurant didn’t disappoint at all! 😍😍
Here’s what I tried:
1) Dahi Puri - It was incredibly flavorful and delicious.
2) Cauliflower fritter - It was crispy and satisfying.
3) Chicken momos - They were very tasty and appetising!
4) Butter chicken pot pie - I would recommend ordering a naan with it because the butter chicken curry is more than the pie crust. However, it was still one of the best butter chicken pies I’ve had in LA😍
5) Chai tiramisu - It was a great dessert, not too sweet, something which I prefer.
I highly recommend this place! I can’t wait to come back!

Went here with 3 friends for the Dine LA experience, offered at $55 / person. Place had nice decor and the courses all slapped.
Standout dishes include the cheesy seek kebab (lamb and mozzarella), chicken vindaloo, and the tadka daal. The garlic naan was on point, the saffron rice was a nice touch, and the espresso tiramasu was heavenly to close us out. They had a vast cocktail menu but we kept it to food + had plenty to bring home. 90 minutes parking in attached garage is validated by restaurant. All in all a great addition with Indian fusion to Little Tokyo!
